About Utrix
2009 - From Vision to Reality
In 2009, after over fifteen years in the animal nutrition business as a trader for major international companies in Lebanon, Mr. Raymond Daher had a vision. He aspired to move the family company from trading to manufacturing, with a view to make Lebanon an exporter of feed solutions. This vision led to the founding of UTRIX in the Bekaa region.
Initially, UTRIX focused on trading feed additives. Its mission was to bring innovative solutions to the Lebanese poultry farming sector, addressing local production challenges such as mycotoxin contaminations.
UTRIX had a bold ambition—to become Lebanon’s first producer of feed additives and premixes. This would ensure that the domestic market had access to fresh, high-quality products tailored to their specific needs.
The plan was clear: to produce locally fresh and affordable solutions without compromising on quality, by adhering to the highest industry standards, such as GMP+.

2015 - Locally Rooted, Globally Minded
By 2015, UTRIX had established its roots in Lebanon while maintaining a global perspective. Collaborating with international experts, UTRIX built in Zahle a state-of-the-art production plant that met international standards.
The plant featured three production lines:
- Premixes,
- Concentrates,
- Specialties like acidifiers and toxin binders.
Later, a fourth liquid line was added to complete the offerings.
UTRIX became a trusted name and a reference in the Lebanese feed market, recognized as a premium supplier of premixes and concentrates.
The company always focused on serving the local community by create value and employment opportunities in the Bekaa region.
Accelerating Innovation
Innovation has been integral to UTRIX’s DNA from the start. Early 2020s, to accelerate innovative efforts, the company restructured its activities around a dedicated Innovation Team. This team is focused on providing the feed and animal industry cutting-edge solutions supported by expert services, enabling UTRIX to expand its presence beyond Lebanon, into the Middle East and Africa.
